Choosing cups for events, venues and gifts

Plastic stadium cups are the workhorse of this category. They cost very little per unit, many are made in the USA, and they suit stadiums, fundraisers, festivals, weddings and campus events where you need hundreds or thousands of cups. Most are reusable and dishwasher safe on the top rack, so the logo keeps getting seen at home.

Insulated stainless steel cups are a different purchase: a premium giveaway or gift that keeps drinks cold for hours. Stackable cups, cold cups with straws and commuter cups with lids are the most requested styles. Aluminum cups are a recyclable alternative for venues trying to move away from single-use plastic.

Decoration options for cups

Custom cups can be decorated with screen printing, full-color digital printing, laser engraving and pad printing. Screen printing lays down solid spot colors and is the most economical method for one or two color logos on larger runs. Full-color digital printing reproduces gradients, photos and multi-color artwork without a setup charge per color. Laser engraving removes the powder coat or marks the steel, leaving a permanent logo that will not peel, fade or wash off in the dishwasher.

Pricing, minimums and turnaround

Most styles here come in under $50 per piece, depending on the model and quantity. Minimums for decorated orders usually fall between 48 and 500 pieces.

Every order starts with a free virtual mockup showing your logo on the actual product, and nothing goes into production until you approve it. Setup is a one-time charge per imprint color and location, and repeat orders of the same artwork usually skip it. Standard production is typically five to ten working days after proof approval, and many items can be rushed.
